Garner Citizens For Haiti – February 5th

Who Will Help Haiti?

The City of Garner Will.

On February 5th at 7:30 pm, join the City of Garner, the Town Council, the Mayor, local civic organizations, and local churches as we pray for and give to the relief efforts in Haiti.  Gathering at the Garner Historic Auditorium, this will be a time of prayer, music, and giving.  The music will be led by the Sovereign King Church music team, and prayer will be led by Rev. Gordon Duncan (Garner Police and EMS Chaplain) and Rev. Chuck Killian (Garner United Methodist Church).

There will be a specific offering taken up for Haiti relief.  Donations can be made by either cash or check made out to “The American Red Cross” with “Haiti” written in the subject line.  We have a specific goal of raising at least $2,500.

There are several specific ways in which you can help:

1.  Invite family and friends to join us on the 5th.

2.  If you have contacts within churches, civic organizations, schools, etc, please forward this article or send them to www.garnercitizensforhaiti.com.

3.  Pray and give.

If you have questions or would like to find out how you might help with the event, email Gordon Duncan at jgordonduncan@yahoo.com or call at 919-412-8161.

Directions to the Garner Historic Auditorium can be found below.
